Swearin’ have announced their first new album in five years, Fall Into the Sun (out October 5 via Merge), and the band has shared the first single, Grow Into a Ghost.
“Fall into the Sun is a record that doesn’t try to obscure the passage of time but instead embraces it,” Merge reports. “Getting older, your tastes change, and what you want to do changes,” says drummer Jeff Bolt. Those changes, though subtle, are impactful, making Fall into the Sun what Allison Crutchfield calls “the adult Swearin’ album.”
Fall into the Sun comes out on CD, LP, and coke-bottle Peak Vinyl (pictured here). All pre-orders of the album in the Merge store receive a free pair of 3D glasses (more info on that soon!), while supplies last. 🔷♦️🔷♦️🔷https://t.co/ArEL7GJDs9 pic.twitter.com/a7bgaMCoAR
