“Transmission is a record store, a gallery and a toy store. It’s physical space is located in Cliftonville, Margate. Founded in 2015 by Spencer Hickman & Kimberley Holladay. Spencer is the label manager for both Mondo Records & Death Waltz Recording Co. & Former manager of Rough Trade and co-ordinator of Record Store Day) Kimberley is an artist with a background of computer VFX in film and hand drawn graphics including the Forbidden World soundtrack sleeve art.

With over 20 years of music retail experience the idea behind Transmission is to offer an expertly curated selection of new and used records concentrating on Soundtracks, Post Punk, Metal, 60s & 70s, Jazz, Anime, Blues & Indie.

We buy and sell and pride ourselves on our knowledge, quality of our stock and a killer selection of Japanese pressings direct from our buyer in Tokyo”.
