Their first store, opened in 2015, is located in the heart of the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, TX. You can find new and vintage vinyl records, new and vintage turntables and other hi-fi audio hardware, apparel, books, jewelry and other one-of-a-kind items selected by their staff. They host in-store performances, book signings, and music industry panels every week.

Spinster Records opened on October 17, under the direction and vision of owner David Grover.

David Grover led a vibrant 30-year music career in Los Angeles as a rock & roll showman (Loud Sugar, Drop, The Fizzies), DJ (DJ Freakstyles), writer, producer and club promoter. Along the way, Grover gained extensive music retail experience boosting sales for large retail outlets. Now that Grover has settled in Dallas, he will fulfill his dream of owning a specialty curated vinyl store in the Tyler Davis area of Oak Cliff.
