    I recently traveled from Easten Canada to the Detroit Record show. Amazing!!! Afterward I toured all the record shops in the Detroit area. I am a big fan of old jazz/soul/funk. Hands down Hello Records was my favourite shop on the tour. It wasn’t the biggest selection but the titles they had were quality. I picked up a ton of stuff I had been looking for for a while. Prices were very fair considering the quality of titles. Very friendly and helpful staff/owner. Also worth noting was their sound system. The music was full and warm. I could have stayed in there forever just to listen. (I actually called the shop a few weeks later to ask them what their set-up was so I could try to reproduce at home.)

    If you are in the Detroit area. Definitely worth a visit!
