La Fiambrera Art Gallery loves music. They can’t dissociate it from the art that surrounds them because it is, in many cases, inseparable. Almost all of their artists can’t separate their work from music either because they too are Crazy about music.
That’s why La Fiambrera Art Gallery wants to pay a huge homage to music with this collective exhibition. It’s designed to be a celebration for all the music lovers, friends and customers of La Fiambrera. Their artists have all created musical tributes in their subject matter over time. In some cases, music is the total focus of their work.
Crazy about music gathers original and edited work that were made to not just deliver an aesthetic message, it also indicates a passion for sound and the excitement of listening to the musicians portrayed in some of the pieces on display.
La Fiambrera Art Gallery has compiled a very eclectic musical selection for your viewing pleasure. It represents a wide range of styles including Jazz (Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Nat King Cole), Soul (Sam Cooke, James Brown, Marvin Gaye), Country (Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton) Rock n’ Roll (Elvis Presley, Wanda Jackson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino), Pop and Rock (The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Bowie, Dylan, The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Velvet Underground, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna) and Punk (Ramones, The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Cramps).
