Captain Beefheart’s ‘Trout Mask Replica’ gets reissue from Jack White’s Third Man Records

Jack White’s Third Man Records has announced a reissue of Trout Mask Replica, the classic 1969 album by Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band, in full partnership with the Zappa Family Trust and to celebrate the relaunch of the seminal Bizarre label imprint.

The reissue is available through the label’s vault package subscription, which is now open through April 30.

This 2xLP is pressed on heavyweight 180-gram fruitcake fish-scale colored vinyl for that full-on frenetic feeling.
The package also includes the first 7″ reissue of the rare Pacucho Cadaver single, a cardboard trout mask, a patch, a tote bag and an epitaph for Beefheart originally published in 2011 by Jack White.
