Listing Description

“The story of Tunes began in a tiny shop on the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk in the summer of 1989.
The little CD and tape shack was aptly named “Tunes on the Dunes”. After gaining a strong following among the locals and the families that came to Ocean City in the summer, it was time to branch out and spread the gospel of Tunes.

The first year-round location opened in Marlton, New Jersey in 1992. Word quickly spread that Tunes was the place to shop for music in South Jersey. Great selection… Great service… Great prices… NEW and USED. In 1995, the Tunes flagship store in North Jersey opened in Hoboken. Soon after that, locations in Turnersville and Voorhees were launched. Foreseeing changes in the music retail business, Tunes began selling online in 1996. Online sales now account for over 25% of our business. Tunes has also extended its product range by buying and selling DVDs, video games, as well as various lifestyle products in all four locations.”
