Pixies releasing 30th anniversary reissue of ‘Come On Pilgrim’ and ‘Surfer Rosa’

The Pixies will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their recorded debut with a trio of box sets. The reissue will contain the Pixies’ 1987 eight track mini-LP, Come on Pilgrim, and their 1988 debut album, Surfer Rosa. It also includes the bonus disc, Live From The Fallout Shelter – one of the earliest recordings of the band, a radio concert that first aired in late 1986 on WJUL-FM in Lowell, MA.

The special sets, called Come on Pilgrim…It’s Surfer Rosa, will be out on September 28th with new artwork reimagined by original designer Vaughan Oliver.
