Interest in Record Store Day seems to be decreasing

Since the return of the most desired musical format today, we are in the moment in which the popularity is lower. According to the tool Google Trends, the peak of interest would have occurred in 2014, and since then, searches have been decreasing year after year, suggesting that in this edition we could go back up to 40%.

Are we facing the end of the return of the music on vinyl or is only the Record Store Day being affected as an event? What do you think?

Google Trends is a tool that measures interest people has on a certain topic based on the user searches.

One of the reasons may be that in recent years there has been much speculation with the exclusive launches in the RSD, which have caused a disproportionate increase in prices as well as the difficulty for music lovers could make their selected albums
