You can buy Joy Division and New Order Dr. Martens boots now. The footwear brand has revealed three different pairs of new boots that feature the iconic album artwork from three of the groups’ albums: Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures, and New Order’s Power, Corruption and Lies, and Technique.

All three designs appear on the brand’s classic 1460 boot, and all the original artworks were designed by Peter Saville.

1460 Unknown Pleasures

This 1460 was created in homage to British post-punk band Joy Division and the cover art from Unknown Pleasures (1979), their first album. The now-classic design is a visual translation of pulsar sound waves — explosive, raw and intense — much like the sound of the band.

1460 Technique

This boot celebrates the pop-culture influence of the iconic post-punk electronic band New Order. A recreation of the cover art of 1989’s Technique, the boot features a cherub statue against a bright ombre background, representing the hedonism of the time.

1460 Power, Corruption & Lies

A recreation of the cover art of New Order’s 1983 album Power, Corruption & Lies, we printed the design on crackle-coated suede to emulate a painted canvas.
